Growings is well funded startup which develop a large automatic Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), which utilizes the most advanced avionics and aerodynamics technologies specifically optimized for use in the agriculture market, aiming for precision agriculture solutions in crop-treatment, and resolving the safety and environmental issues of current aerial application solutions.

Within your role you will be responsible to develop one of the most important system of the UAV platform that responsible for the autonomous functionality

Main Responsibilities

  • Own complete feature cycle – from research through solution design to implementation.
  • Design and implement classical and ML/DL algorithms to deliver advanced computer vision solutions.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts demonstrating technical plausibility towards a viable product.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to enhance and add new modules to the algorithm.
  • Lead and be part of an Agile scrum team, lead functional design reviews, testing and coding of automatic procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BSC / MSC in related field (mainly CS,EE) from leading academic institute
  • 3+ years programming experience in Python / C++.
  • Practical experience in Deep Learning with PyTorch of similar.
  • Experienced in classical computer vision.
  • Linux proficiency
  • Experienced in developing real-time software algorithm – an advantage
  • Familiarity with 3D Geometry, Stereo and depth sensing – an advantage

About the job:

We are looking for a Deep Learning engineer to join the Brodmann17 Chief Scientist’s team. In this position, you will build best in class infrastructure and tools for developing deep learning based ADAS and Autonomous Driving products. You’ll be a key member of designing, implementing and extending this platform that enables fast, continuous and flexible Deep Learning algorithms development. You will work closely with excellent researchers to understand the needs and requirements of the research as well as keep up to date with latest developments in the field.

Main responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain software platform for end-to-end development of Deep Learning computer vision algorithms.
  • Improve the platform capabilities by keeping up to date with product requirements and academic publications.
  • Work closely with the research team to understand their requirements and integrate new capabilities.

Required: 

  • MSc or above in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant projects in Deep Learning / Computer Vision
  • Basic experience with Machine Learning or Deep Learning
  • 2+ years of excellence in Python coding capabilities
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming and code design
  • Ability to understand and implement complex algorithms
  • Strong execution and ownership orientation, through design, development, and deployment 
  • A team player with good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as a strong contributing member of a small R&D team.

Advantage:

  • Knowledge of Computer Vision, Object Detection

At the AI and Algorithms Group we develop cutting edge algorithms for a wide range of systems, from autonomous vehicles to drones and more. We tackle problems in the areas of 3D-perception, computer-vision and decision making, using Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning methods.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join us in developing decision-making algorithms for a range of projects. We are interested in someone with a good understanding of dynamical systems, planning, optimization, machine-learning and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms to solve real decision-making problems for autonomous systems using Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning, Planning and Optimization methods

  • Contribute to infrastructure for machine learning pipelines

  • Integrate solutions in physical systems and verify them in tests

  • Take part in research projects aimed at developing novel methods for future applications

Requirements
