About the position:
You will work on designing and implementing high performance infrastructure for training and deploying machine learning models to provide fast, robust, highly scalable services in production. This will include working with data scientists to facilitate their work whilst ensuring software engineering best-practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement infrastructure to train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models.
Work with distributed computing technologies for processing big-data to train-models and make features available in production.
Write production-ready Python code for model training and deployment.

About You:
Practical understanding of Machine Learning
Able to write high quality, production-ready, Python code
Experience with SQL databases and key-value stores (NoSQL)
Understanding of HTTP and RESTful design
Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies – docker, kubernetes.
Experience working with AWS or at least another common cloud platform (GCP/Azure)
Familiar with distributed general-purpose cluster-computing (e.g. Spark, Dask, Ray)
Comfortable with unix-based systems
Familiar with testing methodologies and TDD best practices
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent (advanced courses or a MSc in a related field are a major plus)

Not a must, but great to have:
Experience partaking machine learning research and model building from scratch
Basic familiarity with ETL/BI tools & methodologies
Experience with using tools in the MLOps domain (Kubeflow, Apache Airflow)
Familiar with Scala

Responsible for R&D machine learning algorithm development and execution.

Develop complex computer vision algorithms to be applied on satellite imagery and geospatial datasets.

Minimum qualifications

Master degree (or applicable experience) in a scientific relevant field is required (Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Geoinformation or Geo sciences); PhD is preferred.

Proved experience with creating and leading machine learning processes and computer visions solutions.

Strong background in statistics and statistical programming skills.

Programming: Python (high proficiency), SQL (high proficiency).

Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras).

High English proficiency (writing, speaking & reading).

A “can do” mindset with strong communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

Programming: R, Java, MATLAB.

Experience with computer vision and image processing.

Experience with geospatial & numerical python packages (e.g. Numpy, GDAL, Geopandas, Rasterio).

Experience with AWS environment.

Experience with remote sensing, geospatial analytics and GIS development.

Experience in Geospatial DB (PostGIS).

We are looking for a senior algorithm engineer that wants to lead a small team working on a platform that involves cameras, radars, distributed computing, and airports.

You will be working on a dynamic robot style system that detects very small objects from hundreds of meters using both camera and radar technologies.

The algorithms needed range from CNN’s, RNN’s, SVM’s and other machine learning algorithms to camera projections, image processing, and tracking.

We are a "hands on" company, so we like our algorithm team to be able to do software implementation of the algorithms.


Proficient in either C#, or C++ – Minimum 5 years of experience – Must

 C++ experience with NN library – a big plus (Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.)

Python is a plus

Matlab is a plus

Job Description:

We are looking for an applied deep learning researcher/developer with strong and proven capabilities of building and deploying deep learning solutions in the computer vision domain.


Own the full development cycle – from researching a problem, defining the required dataset, implementing an efficient model, deploying it to production, and improving it upon the real-world results.

You will work on computer-vision problems such as object-detection, fine-grained classification, change-detection and more.

Use state-of-the-art open-source implementations and adapt/improve them to the project needs.

4+ years experience in applied ML/DL development, of them at least 2 years in deep learning for computer vision.

MSc / PhD in Computer-Science, EE, Physics, Mathematics (or similar) or an extensive equivalent industry/military experience.

Excellent coding ability in Python. C++ is an advantage.

Expert knowledge of at least one DL framework , such as TensorFlow / PyTorch / MXNet.

Demonstrate leadership qualities.

High computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
