We are looking for top-class software engineer for the position of Advanced Computer Vision specialist for semi-/fully autonomous systems.

In this position you will need to lead the development of cutting-edge products, algorithms, applications and tools and deploy them into products that go immediately to field-testing.

Minimum requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in developing algorithms and concepts in computer vision
  • 5+ years in writing code
  • Highly intelligent, delivery driven, meticulous with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong hands-on software engineering with Python
  • Hands-on experience with C/C++ is big advantage
  • Hands-on experience with real-time or embedded systems is big advantage
  • Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering or other relevant training/experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a team of 3-6 researchers, mentoring them in their research projects and being responsible for their growth.
  • Overseeing the algorithmic portion of our recommendation systems for multiple apps with varying use cases.
  • Conducting applied research, keeping in mind the constraints and requirements of real world solutions.
  • Actively participating in tech transfer of new research into products.
  • Working with engineers, designers and product managers to aim your research to the right place.

Novocure provides cancer patients with a novel treatment for aggressive cancers using Tumor Treating electric Fields (TTFields). We are developing a novel software platform for TTFields treatment planning.
