Gentex Technologies Israel – GTI, is the Israeli R&D center of Gentex, located in Tel-Aviv. We are focused on developing the next generation of automotive AI technology for in-cabin and driver monitoring applications and serve as Gentex’s AI center-of-excellence.

About the Position

We are looking for a talented and experienced algorithm researcher to join our research group. In this unique position you will:

• Research and develop algorithms based on deep and machine learning and classical computer vision.
• Being involved in the entire algorithmic research cycle – from problem statement, literature review, and proof-of-concept.
• Work on unique state-of-the-art optical technology.
• Become a part of a global R&D operation and a dynamic local team.

What are we looking for?

• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as an algorithm developer.
• Proven proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch\Tensorflow\Keras\OpenCV, etc.).
• Strong mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
• A problem solver and a team player.
• Advantage – Experience in the automotive domain, background in optics or 3D modeling, and a PhD in EE/CS/Math.
