Position Overview: We are a Data Science group within a leading global technology company, seeking a talented and motivated individual to join us as a Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets and AI models’ results. These analyses should provide actionable insights and comprehensive reports. The candidate is also responsible for developing data-driven strategies, and ensuring the streamlined processing, quality, and integrity of data. Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field. Advantage: Advanced degrees (M.Sc., Ph.D.).
• Proven experience (2 years minimum) as a data analyst with a comprehensive understanding of data including working with Data Science teams and analyzing their algorithmic results.
• Strong knowledge of data exploration, investigation and reporting, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Advantage: Experience with unstructured data, mainly images.
• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Python programming, including scripting for parsing, analysis, and data curation (familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly). Advantage: Automation tools, Git.
• Knowledge of database querying languages and data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI).
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques, or statistical background.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) for data storage and pipeline management. Advantage: Hands-on experience with large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability and ownership over data integrity.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate data insights and present reports to stakeholders across the organization.

Role Responsibilities:

• Investigate datasets to produce insights that assist with data collection requirements, while identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or missing data and providing solutions to enhance quality. Monitor and audit data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
• Build comprehensive reports and dashboards summarizing the data attributes, segmentations and distributions, and the algorithmic quality and metrics, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
• Execute manual and automatic tests to analyze algorithmic results and produce insights regarding model quality status to support strategic decision-making.
• Support the data team in implementing efficient data pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured sources, and creating a comprehensive data curation process. Utilize Python for data parsing, analysis, and curation, and develop automated scripts, analysis tools and dashboards to streamline access to curated datasets for data scientists and analysts.
