Postdoctoral Researcher

We're hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher / Research Fellow (Ph.D. level) for a fully funded 2-year position

at the Swarm and AI Lab (SAIL).

🧩 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀:
• Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL)
• Sim-to-Real Transfer & Domain Adaptation
• Curriculum Learning & Transfer Learning
• Robust autonomy under communication constraints
• Spike neural network decision making with event cameras

🔍 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼:
• Design novel algorithms for MARL in challenging real-world environments.
• Develop adaptive learning pipelines combining simulation and real-world data.
• Collaborate with leading industrial partners.

🛠 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸:
Python | PyTorch | Ray RLlib | ROS | UAV/AUV platforms | HPC | Simulation environments

🧑‍🔬 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲:
• Ph.D. in AI/Robotics/Control Systems or related
• Proven experience in reinforcement learning or multi-agent systems
• Bonus: Background in sim2real, adversarial training, or autonomous robotics
