Being a world leading group in the animal intelligence, we are looking for a data scientist that will help us to discover insights from the vast amounts of data our systems collect.
In this role you will utilize data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building prediction models for the purpose of surfacing insights related to livestock and companion animal behavior.
We are looking for a highly analytical person, proficient in data analysis, math and statistics, and would like to work with our animal research scientists to achieve better understanding of the animals we monitor.
• B.Sc. or higher in bio-medicine, statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
• Strong Theoretical knowledge of Collaborative Filtering, k-Means, Spectral clustering
• Linear-Algebra – a must (LS, PCA, SVD)
• Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with Matlab is an asset
• Strong programming skills
• Self-learner
• Team player
