Responsibilities:
- Lead cutting edge research in unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, NLP and other areas. .
- Apply your scientific knowledge to analyse and collect data, identify problems, devise solutions, and construct methodologies
- Discovering and translating business challenges into data-pipelines and model framework.
- Deliver fast while continually adjusting models according to real-time feedback.
- Convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all stakeholder levels
Requirements:
· Min. 5 years of work experience in a commercial data science environment that requires the combined application of statistical & technical skills (work experience in startup environment preferred). Ad:Tech is a big Plus.
· Strong statistical and research skills with a track record of using a variety of statistical methods (Thomson Sampling , beta distribution , Bayesian).
· Excellent development skills (Python required, Scala a plus).
· Experience in working on big data with distributed computing (Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes).
· Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising or analytics is a plus.
· Theoretical background knowledge like from a relevant BSc, MSc or PHD is a big advantage (e.g. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics).
