The Data Science team at Sparks AB combines cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning and NLP techniques with the company’s unique data assets to build accurate and reliable economical predictions.
We are currently growing and looking for a Data Scientist with practical experience in Time Series analysis, to join our team.
You will take machine learning ideas all the way from early research to deployment up to production and implement a wide spectrum of approaches and algorithms for a wide range of use cases.

Responsibilities
- Joining a team of first-class data scientists in designing, building and maintaining ML and DL based solutions.
- Working with colleagues from various disciplines – R&D, Analysts, Product, etc.
- Working daily with some of the hottest trends in today’s job market: machine/deep learning, big data analytics and cloud.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems Engineering, etc.) preferably with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with machine learning models or time series analysis and forecasting applied for solving real-world problems.
- Solid programming experience with Python or R.
- Strong background knowledge in linear algebra, multivariate calculus, information theory and machine learning concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team, with high impact results.
