Job Description

General Motors Israel (Herzelia) takes a significant part in shaping the autonomous vehicle. We shape the face of the future vehicles in diverse fields by developing cutting edge technologies.

Our Automated driving AI application develops the “brain” of the autonomous vehicle by applying cutting edge technologies into our vehicle's Perception and Decision-Making capabilities. The group joins domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion and Signal Processing and embedded platform development.

The Data Group is developing and operating an efficient Data Engine for automated driving development. The group loads data from various sources create a unified data lake and serves the appropriate data to various development groups.

What will YOU do?

  • Gain deep understanding of real-world problems

  • Design and implement classical and ML/DL  algorithms to deliver advanced computer vision solutions

  • Own complete feature cycle – from research through solution design to implementation

  • Write efficient code (python) that can run both on the vehicles and on our servers at scale

  • Work in agile development methods

  • Implement algorithms that impact the autonomous driving capabilities of GM vehicles

What are we looking for?

  • M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / equivalent

  • Over 3 years of research and development of computer vision / machine-learning algorithms

  • Over 2 years experience in deep learning

  • Over 2 years of python coding experience

  • Passion for innovation
