Our team in the Israel R&D center, drives AIOps into all layers of the Observability portfolio by harnessing data science, ML paradigms and statistical inference deep into the technology and customer facing experiences. A few examples are Dynamic Alerts, Smart Alerts, Smart Detection and Smart Grouping of alerts. And there are many more internally facing magics.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate Senior to Principal applied researcher with a strong technical background and diverse approach to solving problems. You will be working closely with Product Management and Engineering disciplines to create and deliver unique and competitive value to our customers. You will be challenged to select and apply the right paradigm for a solution out of many options at hand (machine learning, time series analysis, statistical inference, and other data science toolkits). To be successful you will need to demonstrate passion for data mining and to making happy customers at equal levels. Coding will be done in a variety of languages and mainly C# and Python.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Sciences / Mathematics / Physics
- Programming experience (C#/Python)
- Fundamental knowledge of Machine Learning & Data Mining theory and algorithms
- Demonstrated experience in solving difficult problems connecting theory with real world impact.
- Advantage: Relevant publications in machine learning / vision / NLP / data mining conferences
- Advantage: knowledge of statistical inference theory and applications

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced and sharp algorithm manager with a solid understanding in Deep Learning and Computer Vision that will help shape the future of computer vision solutions and lead our research team.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will plan, design, and carry through short-term applicative challenges as well as long-term research projects.
- Investigate, identify, and implement novel research ideas
- Provide input for future planning based on area of expertise
- Be involved in algorithmic challenges as well as visionary project leading, mentoring and advising senior algorithm developers, and training junior developers.
Required
- MUST Experience in leading a long-term data research projects from vision to implementation.
- Deep learning for Computer Vision in depth knowledge
- Familiarity with toolkits for deep learning such as TensorFlow/PyTorch
- More than 3 years of experience required as an Applied Machine-Learning / Algorithms Engineer / Computer Vision Engineer
- MSc (with thesis) in Computer Science or equivalent is a MUST. A Ph.D. degree is an advantage

- Hands-on experience as an end-to-end Data Scientist, from data cleaning to production-ready models, in at least two of the following topics:

- Experience with deep learning frameworks in Python.
- Experience with computer vision objectives and related deep-learning architectures.
