Vimeo is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Machine Learning Research team.
The Machine Learning Research team at Vimeo is focused on unlocking opportunities for ML to make an impact, both to existing teams and products, as well as novel opportunities. We work with a wide selection of algorithms, to understand Users and Videos, based on various signals such as text, video and analytics.
In this role, Data Engineer will take an active role in bridging between the existing data on the Vimeo platform and its utilization by the Machine learning team towards applications.

The NLP researcher will work closely with our CTO on our core language understanding and generation technologies, powering the next generation of assistive features for business professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and develop innovative NLP applications as well as continually improve existing NLP applications
Modifying and optimizing Pragma's current NLP models
Prototype, build, and deploy new models to serve as the core of new product features
Staying up to date with the latest research trends that could improve Pragma's product
Masters degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a Machine Learning related degree; or equivalent work experience in the field
3+ years NLP applied research experience, preferably experience applying NLP research to real-world problems in the industry
2+ years of experience building production NLP models, and deploying them to solve inference challenges at scale
Experience with ML Ops, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) frameworks. (Advantage)

The Computer Vision and Perception group is performing research and concept development for automotive-relevant perception tasks. The main research goal is to advance perception capabilities for Autonomous Driving using multi-sensor (e.g. Cameras, Lidars and Radars) data as input.
