Operations Manager
Job description
About the RoleThis is a role working closely alongside me, responsible for turning the work into a well-oiled machine: managing the pipeline, leading delivery with clients, making sure no task falls through the cracks, and – further down the road – building and managing a team of consultants.
If you're a deeply methodical person, someone with operational drive and an instinct for order, who loves connecting people and making things happen – this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Pipeline Management
- Tracking leads, preparing and sending proposals, supporting negotiations, and closing contracts. Defining the consulting offerings available for sale and preparing standard specs.
- Deal Lifecycle Management (Delivery)
- End-to-end project management: coordinating the kickoff meeting, guiding the client throughout, assigning the right consultants, tracking hours, scope, and budget, and overseeing the collections process (managing and documenting it, while flagging decision points to me). Maintaining ongoing contact with the client, gathering feedback, and setting a sharp DoD, Definition of Done, for every project.
- Tracking my meetings and activity, extracting tasks from each one, documenting them in our information systems, and reaching out to all relevant parties – internal and external. Making sure no task falls through the cracks.
- Building Processes & Overseeing Their Execution
- Defining orderly workflows, keeping them updated on an ongoing basis, and ensuring full sync across all parties. This is the heart of the role – methodical, highly process-driven work.
What I'm Looking For
- Exceptional organizational and methodical ability – someone for whom an orderly system is second nature. (Required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business sense – a big part of the role is connecting different players in the ecosystem.
- Personal accountability and the ability to work independently – without letting any task drop.
- High-level English – written and spoken.
- Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to work with them day to day.
- A willingness to work hard, but in balance – mostly working from home, with high autonomy and real responsibility.
A Plus (Not Required)
- Familiarity with the AI field and its various players.
- An understanding of how large projects and deals are structured.
- Familiarity with the Israeli tech ecosystem.
- Experience building skills, agents, and advanced AI tools.
- Prior experience managing a team.
Terms
- Full-time.
- Mostly remote (Zoom calls and regular syncs), with occasional in-person meetings with clients and partners.
