Machine & Deep learning Israel highlights: 6.1-30.12.2018

We had a great week with many good recommendations and informative links. Let's start:
1. Philip Tannor shared that his group won the first place at the MAFAT challenge! A several weeks ago I have told you about the new Kaggle style competition MAFAT is running and now I'm glad to tell you that an Israeli team has won the challenge. Don't miss his post.
2. Shay Palachy, made us all love him a little bit more thanks to his new blog post about "Data Science Project Flow for Startups". If you need to read only one article make it this one.
3. Eyal Ben Zion shared a good new book about Machine Learning called "The Hundred-Page Machine Learning Book" written by Andriy Burkov. I personally waited to this book to come out.
4. Itai Guez asked the question we all wanted to know: Does it matter where did you study your advanced degree?
5. Shahar Guigui created an important poll and tried to understand which platform is more popular (Colab, PyCharm and more..).
6.Vered Shwartz wrote a great blog about fairness in AI. Read it here.
